Surprised thief returns property before fleeing By David Lea OAKVILLE BEAVER STAFF Halton police are looking for one suspect after a woman surprised a thief in her garage on Gatwick Drive earlier this month. Police said on Sunday, Dec. 2, a man entered the garage at a Gatwick Drive home, got inside a car parked in the garage and began rummaging through the glove box. Not long after, however, the 55-year-old homeowner discovered the suspect at work and confronted him. The man fled, but not before returning a phone charger to the woman. The culprit then ran toward Roxton Road with a few dollars in change from the car. The suspect was described as a white male, 16-18 years of age with a pale complexion, short brown hair and a husky build. He was wearing a white hooded sweater with a black swirl design and tan cargo pants.
