In the year ahead, we'll be introducing a variety of exciting new programs for all ages and digital services that will make it easier to access the library resources you love. If you haven't already picked up a copy of our just-released Spring/Summer 2013 Program Guide, head over to your favorite branch or visit us online to access it digitally. For now, here's a sneak peak of what's in store: · For kids -- get ready for a light saber relay and droids vs. drones obstacle course in our awesome `Jedi Training' class or sign up for some `Dazzle Art' programs during March Break, including sculpture-making, beading and paper maché. We've got a bunch of other free drop-in programs like `Wii for Fwii' where a variety of Wii games will be available for all ages to try. · For teens -- from our `Teen Photography Workshop', `Introduction to Animation' and `Teen Job Search Workshop', we've got classes that will inspire both creativity and success. Many of these programs are entirely free. · For adults -- we've got many great events coming up in the next few months, including our popular `Books and Beer' eve- W What's coming up at the library in 2013 ning. Internationally-acclaimed and bestselling author Louise Penny will also be speaking about her latest novel, The Beautiful Mystery, on Jan. 31. Tickets are still available, but numbers are limited. There are many tech-help classes available that will help adults navigate the digital world and utilize digital devices more easily. · For newcomers -- most of our programs for newcomers are free and have been designed to make settling into the community much easier. For internationally-trained individuals, the `Global Experience Ontario' workshop will advise newcomers how to become licensed and registered in the province.
