PRESTON, Judith- In loving memory, Judith (Judie) Preston on March 23, 2007, peacefully after "fighting a good fight". Loving wife, friend and companion of Tom Preston. Loving mother of Wendy (Mike) Schwarz, Robert (Raymond Gonsalves). Adored grandmother of Adam and Tyler. Friend and sister-in-law to Cliff and Elizabeth Preston. Sister to Shirley (Hugh) McNally. Aunt to Michael (Raffaella) Preston and Karen (Gary) Wilson. Greataunt to Lindsay, Jacob and Daniella. Cousin to Ann Pollock. Judie will be forever remembered for her passion for politics and organizing substantial gatherings. She also loved travelling, gardening, figure skating and especially family and friends. Judie lived her life with zest and commitment. Special thanks to Drs. Murray Duguid and Peter Anglin and the staff at Credit Valley, Cathy Kiteley and the many friends who supported her in this journey. Family and friends were received at the Ward Funeral Home, Oakville Chapel (109 Reynolds Street, Oakville), Monday, March 26th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service was held at St. Cuthbert's Anglican Church (1541 Oakhill Drive, Oakville), Tuesday, March 27th at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
