They now live on Plains Road East, and had two children, Charles and Kathleen. Charles married Florence Alkenbrack, a former Principal of Maplehurst School. Their children are: Carolyn, Robert, Mary. Kathleen, married Garnet Mills; their children are: David, Ronald, Verne, Kathy. They now reside in North Bay. Charlie and his Dad have a greenhouse and roadside market on No. 2 Highway, about one and one quarter miles from the original home site estate. Josh Filman had five sons by his first wife, Emma Sovereign. His second wife was Dagmar Sinclair Cartwright and they had no family. The five sons were: Walter married Ethel Attridge William married Nellie Macklin and then Maude Bowen George married Mabel Smart and then Jean Taylor Arthur married Ella Griffin and then Agnes Griddin Ernest married Winnie Binkley and then Gladys Garvey. They settled in the area bound by Eagle Drive and Townsend Ave and to the Bay. The names of the streets in the Area carry the names of birds, in memory of Walter Filman who was a great bird lover and had a large pond for the wild birds, at one time situated in the ravine between Teal and Partridge Streets. John Filman married Annie Smale. They had five daughters and one son: Pansy married Russel Emery (deceased) son John, lives on the home property. Lena married Ernest Lavern Kerns, resides on King Rd. Irene married C. R. Jamieson, resides on King Rd. Dell not married, resides on King Rd. Leslie (deceased)
