Shepherd of Burlington married Walter Allan, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Horne of Burlington. Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride chose a gown of silk faille with a bodice of Brussels lace, fashioned with a scoop neckline. A pleated cummerbund emphasized the bouffant skirt which was caught up into a bustle. Matron of honor was Mrs. H. R. Farrow of Burlington. Bridesmaids were Miss Audrey Gunby of Oakville, while Miss Sandra Siple of Burlington was junior bridesmaid. Mint-Green Dress All attendants wore mint-green gowns fashioned with crystal organza flared skirts and lace bodices. Their headpieces were matching flowers and bows. They carried cascades of pink roses, purple gladioli and ivy. Best man was Edward Kearns of Burlington. The bride's brothers, Bob and Mack Shepherd, ushered as did Robert Terry of Waterdown and Hedley Farrow of Burlington. Bride's Aunt Plays The bride's aunt, Mrs. John Freeman, of Rockwood, accompanied soloist Harold Neath, of Waterdown. After a wedding trip to the Laurentian Mountains the bride and groom will reside in Burlington.
