TAYLOR March 29, 1962, Burlington Gazette Frank Wright photo - Clipping of Photo and article: Newly-Weds Have Southern Honeymoon Monica Anne Ackermann became the wife of Henry Allen Taylor in an afternoon wedding March 10 at Trinity United Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Ackermann, Hamilton, and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Russell Taylor, 399 Pearl Street. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of silk organza and lace, the sabrina neckline adorned with chantilly lace, and the full skirt trimmed with lace applique and sequins. A crystal crown held her finger-tip nylon bubble veil and she carried red roses and stephanotis. Bridal attendants were Miss Johanne Van Grieken; Miss Christel Ackermann, sister of the bride; Miss Ingrid Niesler the bride's cousin; and Mrs William Jonathon, sister of the groom. All are from Ham ilton. They wore dresses o lilac lace and silk organza; over taffeta with rhinestone tiara headdresses. Their flowers were Lester Hibbard roses and white carnations. Brother of the groom, Mr Edward Taylor, was best mai and guests were ushered by Mr. Ronald Crooker, Mr. Robert Roscoe and Mr. Carl [?] Wood, all of Hamilton. Officiating at the wedding was the Rev. Keith McMillan with Mr. Gordon Douglas as organist and Mrs. G. T. Baker as soloist. Following a reception at the Willowbank, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Florida and Nassau, in the Bahamas. They will take up residence at 961 Shadeland Avenue.
