The music and film festival runs from March 8-14 in Austin, Texas. Coldwater is listed in the festival's Narrative Spotlight section. The film is about a teenaged boy sent to a juvenile reform facility in the wilderness and his strug- gle for survival within the camp. Penney wrote the film with Vincent Grashaw, who also directed. It was shot over the summer in Los Angeles and at an outdoor camp in Malibu, California. Penney previously lived in California, where he went to film school and met Grashaw.
