Author appears on Oprah Winfrey Network's Life Story Project Oakville author Susan Crossman will be sharing her personal story of love and regret when she appears on the Oprah Winfrey Network's Life Story Project. The episode airs tonight (Wednesday) at 9:30 p.m. Life Story Project is hosted by relationship expert and author Andrea Syrtash and Toronto-based psychotherapist Dale Curd. They ask members of the general public to share their personal stories and examine the significance behind some key events in their lives. Crossman is the author of Passages to Epiphany and Shades of Teale. On the show, Crossman will be speaking about love and regret and how it relates to her first novel, Shades of Teale. Crossman was widowed five years ago when her husband succumbed to cancer and she was left to raise their two children, who were seven and nine at the time. During that time, she completed the novel her husband had been encouraging her to write for more than a decade. The novel tells the story of a woman's journey through an abusive relationship. Crossman's follow-up book, Passages to Epiphany, is a collection of short stories and creative non-fiction pieces, which share the theme of "awakening."
