Predeceased by his beloved wife Grace. He will be sadly missed by his loving sons Peter (Bonnie) and Chris (Ana) and his grandsons Rodrick, Andrew and Patrick. Ron was born in Loughborough, England and joined the Royal Air Force as an apprentice at age 16. He went on to serve in the RAF through World War Two as a Flying Officer. After the war, Ron worked at Bristol aircraft and later, in 1951, immigrated with his young family to Canada. After several years at Canadair in Montreal, the family relocated to Ontario where Ron worked at Dowty in Ajax on the Avro Arrow main landing gear, later in Peterborough at General Electric, and finally settling in Oakville in 1966 and working in thermal generation at Ontario Hydro. Ron was an avid furniture maker and fly fisherman. He was a true gentleman gifted with a great sense of humour. The family would like to thank the staff and Ron's friends at the Vistamere retirement home and the West Oak Village long-term care facility for their care and companionship during Ron's later years. Ron was a regular dialysis patient at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and the family especially thanks the staff for their help and support over many years. Finally, for Ron's last days, we thank the staff in palliative care for their support in making Ron's last days comfortable. Born in Lindsay, ON, Beth was the beloved wife of James E. Quibell (married October 16, 1965 at Chalmers United Church in Kingston); loving mother of Martine (Derek) and predeceased daughter Andrea (1995); grandmother of Alanna and Christopher; sister to Bonnie Cochrane (Jim), Joanne Bailey and Judy Bailey. Truly blessed to be together 23 years. Proud and loving mom to Celesse and step daughter Melissa. Cherished daughter to Don Goodale Sr. (Rose), Theresa Toner-Burke (Bill). Karin grew up a quiet, confident little athlete enjoying track and field, hockey and soccer. She had a career as a dog groomer till her daughter Celesse was born, later to be a dental assistant. Other than her daughter, Karin's true happiness came when she met her best friend and husband Blair. Together they loved the good and battled the tough! Karin shared a unique and caring love with her mom Theresa....her angel of unwavering care and support for many years. The pain and loss we feel in our hearts is comforted knowing she is free from the pain and ravages of MS.
