On Tuesday, April 2, at around 6:05 p.m. Brian Hoffman, 54, was cycling home from work when he suffered a massive heart attack and collapsed in the area of Upper Middle Road and Joshua Creek Drive. Hoffman's wife, Denise Frenette, said several people rushed to where he had fallen, including one stranger who began perBrian Hoffman forming CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). "Apparently there's good CPR and bad CPR and this person performed really good CPR," said Frenette. "They knew what they were doing and that's why my husband is alive today." Frenette said the skilled person was able to keep Hoffman alive until paramedics arrived minutes later. see No on p.3
