Habitat for Humanity Halton is a charitable organization that works to create and promote safe and affordable home ownership options with the aim of alleviating the cycle of poverty in the community. Through an application process, it offers a family a place to call home provided they pay their interest-free mortgage and contribute 500 hours of work to Habitat's programs. Habitat Halton then reinvests money made from each mortgage into construction of another home.
