NEW COMPANIES OF GIRL GUIDES The local Girl Guide company met at Maplehurst School on Wednesday evening when they packed candies and novelties to be sent overseas to guide friends in England. The guides and brownies have formed new companies in Aldershot with Mrs. W. J. Deadman as district commissioner. The first company at Fairfield will be under the leadership of Mrs. E. C. Davis as guide captain, Miss Winnifred Kellar as brown owl and Miss Irene Storey, tawny owl. The second company meeting at Maplehurst public school will be led by Miss Helen Gallagher as captain, Miss Thora Jackson, lieutenant; Misses Joyce Scheer and Audrey Green will be brownie leaders.
