Deadman, member of the provincial executive of the Girl Guide Association, at the annual birthday party of the Aldershot District Guides and Brownies, in Rosary Hall, Aldershot. Mary Elizabeth earned nine of the badges required to attain the Gold Cord, while confined to bed with illness for nearly a year.
