Miss Sharon A. Klodt Bride Of Gordon Nixon Baskets of white mums and candlelabra decorated Trinity United Church December 15 when Miss Sharon Ann Klodt, daughter of Mrs. Frank A. Johnstone of 2184 New Street and the late Mr. William R. Klodt, became the bride of Gordon Ernest Nixon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Nixon of 5226 Dundas Highway. Rev. Keith McMillan officiated at the ceremony which took place at 7 p.m. Mr. Gordon Douglas provided the wedding music. Mr. Harvey Klodt, of Buffalo, New York, uncle of the bride, escorted her to the altar. She wore a gown of white velvet with a chapel train of peau de soie. From her white velvet pill box headdress fell a shoulder length veil. She carried a white prayer book and red rose buds, and wore a Dearl drop necklace, a gift of the groom. Miss Mary Jane Smith of Burlington, was maid of honor, while Miss Patricia Brown of Burlington was a bridesmaid and Miss Karen Klodt, sister of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid. They wore red velvet dresses and carried white velvet muffs with corsages of red carnations and sprigs of pine. Their veils were held in place by bows of white velvet. The bride is the former Miss Mary Claire Smiley. - Joseph Bochsier Swann - Fellowes Aldershot Presbyterian Church was the scene of the wedding on October 7, when the Rev. William Black united in marriage Mary Elizabeth Fellowes and Donald James Swann. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Fellowes, 903 Shadeland Avenue, Burlington. Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Swann, 194 Cloverdale Avenue, are the parents of the groom. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white gown fashioned with a bodice of peau de soie, the neckline straight and high at the front and forming a deep Y at the back. The gored skirt of embossed peau de soie had a back panel simulating a train. A crown headdress of seed pearls and rhinestones held her bouffant fingertip length veil. She carried pink Demure Sweetheart roses and stephanotis with ivy and white heather. Attending the bride were Mrs. Eric Farquhar of Burlington; Mrs. David Jarvis of Clarkson; and Miss Lillian MacDonald. They wore dresses of shrimp colored peau de soie with matching bow headdresses, and carried white carnations and ivy. Mr. David Jarvis of Clarkson was best man. Ushering the guests were Mr. George Fellowes of Waterdown and Mr. Lloyd Fletcher. Mrs. Robert Herdman played the organ and accompanied Mr. Norman Pyper, the soloist. After a reception at the Wentworth Arms, the bride and groom left on a motor trip to Quebec, Vermont, and Lake Placid. They will reside at 323 Beaver Street, Burlington. TERRENCE EASTERBROOK Jeanne Ellen Adams became the wife of John Terrence Easterbrook, of Campbellville, in a wedding ceremony in St. Matthew's Anglican Church on March 4. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. J. Adams and the parents of the groom are John Foster Easterbrook, Q.C., and Mrs. Easterbrook. The church was decorated with red carnations and white mums as the bride walked to the altar escorted by her brother, Robert William Adams. Best man was Paul Barlow and ushers were Rodger Davis and Harold Watson. Ring bearer was Brock Easterbrook, brother of the groom. Rev. C. Wright officiated at the ceremony during which Ruth Lawrence played the wedding music and Mrs. E. Mr. and Mrs. Donald James Swann were married recently in Aldershot Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Swann is the former Miss Mary Elizabeth Fellowes of Aldershot. - Flett Suzanne Mayberry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Mayberry, 518 North Shore Blvd., Burlington, recently graduated from Colby Junior College, New London, New Hampshire.
