A hymn sing was led by Mr. G. Laidlaw and refreshments were served by the women of East Plains. The crowded morning anniversary services featured the intermediate choir under the direction of Mrs. D. Erskine at 9.30 and the senior choir led by Henry Roper at 11 a.m. Rev. E. A. Chester gave the sermon at both services. Flowers throughout the church were arranged by Mrs. J. Lucas and Mrs. D. Thomas.
