HOLY ROSARY CWL [Catholic Women's League] HAS FIRST GROUP MEETINGS March 2, 1961. Holy Rosary Council of Catholic Women's League held its first group meeting March 1 in the group conveners's homes. This is an experiment in league work. It is hoped it will be successful. For a start the paid-up membership list was divided into 11 groups, each named after a Saint. There were approximately 12 to 15 ladies for each group, headed by a group convenor who is a member of the general executive. The smaller group meetings will be held the first Wednesday of each month in the members' homes. It is hoped the smaller groups will enable members to become better acquainted with each other and with all phases of league work. This spring each group has been assigned a booth for the annual Strawberry Social to be held June 10. The following are the group converersj St. Ann's Group, Mrs. E. Regan, penny sale; St. Theresa Group, Mrs. F. Burcher, bake booth; St. Agnes Group, Mrs. E. Jones, gift booth; St. Lucy Group, Mrs. Wm. [William] Ryan, touch and take; St. Margaret Group, Mrs. W. A.
