April 1955 As convenor of Historical Research for the Aldershot Women's Institute I am pleased to report as follows; Mrs. Norman Robertson gave a most informative address on "Canadian Antiques" at one of our meetings, illustrating her remarks with many of her own lovely old pieces of furniture, household equipment and bric-a-brac. Six past presidents of our Institute were also present and gave the highlights of their terms of office. We were honoured to have Mrs. J. C. The Roll Call; "An incident of 25 years ago" was answered by many members. A feature of the programme was a fashion show of dresses, hats and coats worn twenty five years ago and several beautiful wedding dresses were modelled. Mrs A. Raab at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 2nd. This report is to be sent on to the district convenor. A good deal of work has been put on our "Tweedsmuir History" book and the convenor hopes to display it at the annual meeting of the North Wentworth W.I. All respectfully submitted by Lucy R.
