High School Panel Visits Kiwanis Club February 15th. 1962. A panel composed of six grade 11 students from Aldershot High School gave a most stimulating presentation to the Kiwanis Club of Aldershot, recently. The subject was "The Problem and Opportunities before Today's Young People". A panel of four Kiwanians posed a number of questions which the young panelists discussed thoughtfully and articulately. While they conceded that there are many more opportunities for today's young people than ever before, they also pointed out that there are just as many more chances to make wrong decisions, and there appears to be a good deal less guidance being given by many parents today because they too are preoccupied with so many new activities outside the home. High School panelists were Ted and Caroline Roberts, Linda and Larry Haggar, Cathy Spinks and Ken Shonk. The Kiwanians who participated were Don Thomas, Bob Allan, Julian Dravis and Ham Goar. The club's appreciation was expressed by Jim McLean who echoed the meeting's feeling when he told the young guests what a very fine impression they had made.
