Emery 1926 - September receipts show an entry of $119.00 received from Aldershot Hockey Club, which used the greens during the winter months. A small building and benches affording shelter and ease of changing skates. R. H. Emery was treasurer for the Hockey Club. Apparently no minutes were kept of meetings during the years 1923 to 1930; just a record of receipts and expenses. Owing to increased membership and need for more greens, it was decided to locate on Shadeland Avenue, on land made available by George D. Filman, and in October of 1930 a drive was made to raise funds to build a new Club House. John McBride is mentioned for laying out greens on the new property. The following names listed as Stockholders and Trustees in "Aldershot Lawn Bowling Club" October 1930 - per share - thirty-five ($35.00) Dollars fully paid as follows:- Wm. [William] Scheer T. C. Green Geo. [George] D. Filman Jos. [Joseph] Smiley Frank Scheer Albert Scheer Henry Klodt Edwin Whyte A. P. Rodgers R. H. Emery Jas. [James] Stevenson and in April 1931, Wm. [William] Gage W. Young. Some records of interest are Feb. 3, 1931- A. Burns, 13 1/2 hours on well. Feb. 3 - J. F. Crowley, engine, pump and tank for new Club House. Chadwick Electric - fixtures, etc., for Club House and lights for greens, $194.91. September 1932 - A melon tournament was held, using Aldershot and Burlington greens.
