D. Dellenbach would like the "Dellenbach Trophy" to be held by the winner during the summer and the winner of the Ladies singles elimination games to challenge her for the Trophy. It was agreed to accept this condition. The Hamilton Spectator. July 5, 1960 Aldershot - Sixteen entries from Hamilton, Dundas, Burlington and Oakville took part in the ladies trebles tournament held at the Aldershot Lawn Bowling Club. Winner of the G. W. Robinson Co. Trophy was a rink skipped by Mrs. W. A. Webb of Roselawn, with three wins, 48 plus one. Second place was won by Mrs. John Benzie of Hamilton -Churchill with three wins, 41 plus two. Mrs. L. Richmond of Roselawn was third with two wins 45 plus two and Mrs. T. Bacon of Fernleigh was fourth with two wins, 45 plus one. A recent mixed trebles tournament was won by a rink from Dundas skipped by Mr. Tait, and including Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hucham. Aldershot took second place with Ray Livingstone as skip, Mrs. Livingstone and son Jack. Third place was won by the Roseland rink skipped by Ken Morris, with Mrs. Morris and son Brian Morris. Hamilton Spectator, Aug. 28th, 1950 Aldershot - The annual melon tournament of the Aldershot Men's Club on the local bowling green was most successful. The following clubs were represented: Burlington, Roseland, Grimsby, Hagersville, Thistles, Argyle, Calvary, Fernleigh, Roselawn and Strathcona. Forty sets of men's trebles competed. Prize winners were: Russell McGrath, Burlington; Robert Bell, Fernleigh; J. Hanns, Fernleigh; J. Hutchinson, Roselawn; William Fernleigh, Burlington.
