Club Glenview Clippings of Photos: AIdershot Teenagers Enjoy Organized Fun March 1956 Growing, since its beginning ten years ago, when 100 teenagers met weekly at Fairfield School, Aldershot, for dances in the school auditorium, to its present membership of 500, Club Glenview now boasts its own music department. A record player, an extensive library of records, and a public address system, valued at $750, were all purchased by the young people themselves, out of proceeds from weekly dances. Lorraine Taylor (left), secretary of the club, is pictured with two other members of the record committee, Carolyn Cooper (centre) and Joyce Pinhay. Past presidents of Club Glenview meet to plan one of the canteen's celebrations. They are enjoying here some of the pictures taken in former years on special club occasions. They include, from the left, Morley Klodt, first president who served for five years; Don Laidman, Mrs. Marjorie (Briggs) Hewitson, Bruce Briggs, current president and Joe Petrarca.
