The organization will perform Bob Marley's Exodus Friday (May 10). The show starts at 8 p.m. The reggae album, released in 1976, is considered to have propelled Marley to international stardom. It features such hits as Exodus, One Love, Jamming and Waiting in Vain. Time magazine called it the best album of the 20th century. Exodus remained on the UK charts for 56 consecutive weeks, peaking at No. 8. The Centre is located at 130 Navy St. Tickets cost $64.99 and are available at 130 Navy St. St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School students hosted the Illuminate charity fashion show last week, raising money for Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hopsital's Navigator Program, which provides youth mental health programs. The awards are presented by the Crime Writers of Canada. Linwood Barclay is a finalist for the best novel award for his Trust Your Eyes publication. Melodie Campbell is nominated for the best short story award for her Life Without George, which was published in Over My Dead Body Mystery Magazine. This is the 29th year of the awards program. There are seven categories for published pieces of work. The categories are novel, first novel, nonfiction/true crime, juvenile, short story, book in the French language and novella. There is another award from the Crime Writers of Canada, the Unhanged Arthur, which goes to the best unpublished first crime novel.
