The study was conducted in compliance. with Schedule C of the Municipal Class Environment Assessment (June 2000), which is approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act. Following the March 1, 2006 Public Information Centre, the preferred alternative was reviewed in light of commen.s received and modified as required. Taking into consideration the comments received from the Town of Milton, regulatory agencies and the public, the recommended alterna- tive includes: " The widening of Derr Road (Regional Road 7) from two to four lanes from Tremaine Road (Regional Road 22) to First LinelBronte Street with an urban cross-section, continuous centre median and delineated on-road cycling lanes; and " A grade separation underpass at the CN Rail uine, located west of First Line/Bronte Street. The Environmental Study Report (ESR) has been prepared to document the planning and decision making process undertaken for this study. By this Notice, the ESR is being placed on the public record for a 45-day review period in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Class EA. Subject to comments received as a result of this Notice and the receipt of necessary approvals, Halton Region intends to proceed with the detail design and construction as documented in the ESR.
