Police said that on August 10 at 3:30 p.m., a man entered a local store - which can't be named to protect the privacy of the victim - and began speaking with a 19-year-old female employee. He asked if her boss was there, police said, to which she responded he wasn't. He told her be was employed with an electricity company and engaged ber in conversation. He then put his hand down the front of her shirt. Police said the victim grabbed the man's hand and held him in a wrist- lock. He was forced to leave the store on his hands and knees, police said. A 40-year-old Brampton man was arrested and charged with sexual assault. Police said unknown suspects cut a lock to gain access to the rear parking lot of the dealership, and made off with a silver, unplated 2004 GMC Yukon valued at $30,000. Dirt bike stolen A dirt bike was stolen from a home on Hwy. 7 last weekend. Police said the theft took place between 4 p.m. last Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday Unknown suspects cut open the lock to a barn and stole a red, white and black 2005 Honda CRF 250. It was valued at $5,000. Fuel and tank swiped A theft occurred last week at a Sixth Line construction site. Police said that overnight August 9 an unknown suspect stole 600 litres of diesel fuel from a stationary tank as well as a 250-litre fuel tank. The estimated value of the stolen property is $1,250. Teens sought in theft Police are looking for two teen sus- pects after alcohol was stolen from a house on Mara Circle. H it-and-run case in court A man charged in the July hit-and- run death of an 18-year-old Miltonian will return to court next month. A lawyer representing Stephen Alchin, 34, formerly of Halton Hills, appeared at the Ontario Court of justice in Milton Wednesday to set the return date, which is September 6. Alchin faces a charge of criminal negligence causing death as well as charges of failing to remain and drug possession. He was released on bail last month and is residing in Georgetown with his mother. Lauren Cooper, a student at Milton District High School, was rollerblading the night of July 13 on Second Line, just north of No. 15 Sideroad when she was struck by a vehicle.
