Founded i Milton the irst 'show was held in Milton Fairgrounds, Labour Day Weekend 1961 and bas grown toise considered, by far, one of tise best and most complete historical shows. This years show opens to the public 8ans Friday Aug 31 and continues ibru Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Outside exiibits will uselude displays of antique cars, modela, ail sorts of antique tractors and of course tise steam enginea. Dispisys will be in operation daily inclucisng a Steaus powered sawmiil, shingle tiills, tireshing demonatrationa and daily competitions of îisreshing and operator skills. Buildings wiil feature ladies crafts wstis al sorts of knitted & sewn crafts for sale. Tise model building bouses a vast array of band made scale modela includ- ing smal engines of steam and gas vartety, scale loco- motives and toys. Under tise Grandstand features antiques cisplayed by club members and tise toy build- ing bas vetadors witis al sorts of collectable toys and souvenirs for sale. An outside fies market & "Trading Post", as it is known at Steans-Era, could contain just about any- thing from isousebold antiques to auto parts and even a stearn engine or two for sale. Treasures abound for tise collectora! Tissyears feature Tiseme is "Tise Evolution of tise Gas Engine" and its role in agriculture. A special display of tise eariest gas engines showcasing tiseir pioneering designts and tise evolution of their improvements over tise early years of development to more modem types we take for granted today. See ail sonts of pioneering machines of our ancestors run by some small and some not so smUsl engines putting away on gas, kerosene and even just bot air.
