From now until September 4, shop- pers will be able to make a donation at Wal-Mart's check-outs and post a Red Cross card on the wall that hears their name. Funds raised will cnsure the Red Cross is ready to respond when disaster strikes. "This campaign is an excellent opportunity for Canadian Red Cross to profile the important work that we do in our own community while also rais- ing awareness about how anyone can personally prepare for an emergency," said Lisa Natale, fund development co- ordinator for the Halton Red Cross $1,O98-iya branches. "We're ver excited to work with Wal-Mart during this annual fundrais- ing campaign and know that Wal-Mart shoppers will get behind Canadian Red Cross.
