The Town of Milton announced Tuesday that tbe position bas been filled, with Brian Ellsworth taking the top spot at the Milton Pire Department startingjanuary 2. Ellsworth, 42, said bes looking forward to starting this ncw cbap- ter in bis life, and is excited about working witb wbat be said is a world-class fire service. "I'm looking forward ta leading a great group of people," said Ellsworth, wbo bas a wife, Beth, and two cildren - an 11 -year-old daugbter and an eigbt-year-old son. The Georgetown resident previ- ously worked witb tbe Richmond Hill Pire Department, wbere be served as deputy fire cbief and community emergency manage- ment co-ordinator. The Milton Salvation Army bas set its fundraisrng goal at $95,000.
