3960 talented players, 1,000 committed volunteers, and a legion of dedicated sponsors, 2012-2013 was a stellar season for the Minor Oaks Hockey Association! House League success on ice came with 2700+ games played by 216 teams, capped off by fun-filled IP and Awards Weekends. 2012-13 MOHA WHAT A HOCKEY SEASON! Town Rep iced 37 teams from Tyke to Midget in divisions spanning AAA, AA, A, AE and AE2. The Oakville Rangers are expanding and developing even more players this year see our website for information about the upcoming 2013 14 season. The season end results said it all - six Tri-County League Champions, nine Ontario Minor Hockey Association Champions and four teams advancing to the Ontario Hockey Federation Championship with our Peewee A team crowned OHF Champions!! Our Minor Midget AAA team captured the prestigious OHL Gold Cup with no less than 12 players from the Minor Midget AAA Oakville Rangers drafted in the OHL Priority Selection (a record for the MOHA), including three players in the first round! Our Teams competed in multiple high caliber provincial and international tournaments for both House League and Rep Players. Many of our teams brought home victories and we are proud of each and every accomplishment from the youngest skater learning to shuffle down the ice to the MOHA graduates signing their first NHL contracts. This has been a year for the record books! Our wins have much to do with the expert coaches we have on our teams. Our coach development and mentorship programme is leading edge affording one of our coaches an appointment at the OHF U16 selection camp representing the OMHA. 23 | Friday, May 10, 2013 | OAKVILLE BEAVER | www.insideHALTON.com Initiation Program Championships RED 8 AM TIMBITS BRUINS ............................................... 4 RED 9 AM TIMBITS ORANGE CRUSH ................................. 5 RED 10 AM TIMBITS DARK KNIGHTS .................................. 1 BLUE 11 AM TIMBITS SHARKS ............................................ 6 BLUE 12 PM TIMBITS PENGUINS .......................................... 4 BLUE 1 PM TIMBITS SUPER DRAGON BIRDS ...................... 6 WHITE 11 AM TIMBITS BLACK NINGAS .................................. 3 WHITE 12 PM TIMBITS FLYERS .............................................. 3 WHITE 1 PM TIMBITS HORNETS .......................................... 3 March 2 &3 2013 .................................
