Auditions are held throughout May and June and again in the fall at the Queen Eliza- beth Park Community and Cultural Centre (QEPCCC). "We welcome all types of acts. Anything goes for this year's Seniors Spectacular," said director Vince Carlin, in a news release. "We're already hard at work organizing auditions and look forward to another fun show for performers and audiences alike." Seniors Spectacular Showcase is a cabaretstyle production. Singers, dancers, comedians, magicians, groups or any other performers, who are 40 or older, are asked to audition. To book an audition, contact Carlin at 416550-8030 or carlinvince@gmail.com. The showcase will take place Saturday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. at QEPCCC, 2302 Bridge Rd., in the black box theatre. Tickets will go on sale this fall. Young musicians asked to take the stage The Town of Oakville is hosting auditions for its all-genre music concert called Summer Tune Up, which will happen Thursday, June 13 at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre (QEPCCC), 2302 Bridge Rd. The concert will run 7-10 p.m. The auditions will be held on Thursday, May 23 and Thursday, May 30. Local musicians and bands are asked to try out.
