But when Greco, 55, cut off Winsor, 39, it sparked a series of 'actions and reactions" that would change everything for the two drivers and their families. Just a minute-and- a-half after that single manoeuvre, Greco was thrown from. bis SUV onto Hwy 401 after swerving to avoid Winsors vehicle as it braked in front of hlm. The father of three died at the scene soon after. Winsor fled and surrendered that after- noon. In March, Winsor, now 40, out on bail and living with hic mother in Streetsville, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing death and failing to, stop at the scene of an accident. A charge of criminal negligence causing death was dropped. Yesterday, in a sentencing hearing to decide Winsor's fate, a Milton courtroom heard what happened during the 75 to, 105 seconds between the pairs first contact and Greco's ejection. "This is a case of a very hrief encounter with a sudden and tragic resuit," said Crown attomney John Dibski. It was the first time the details were made public and not subject to a publication ban.
