Reacquainting area residents with one of history's more colourful periods, the Country Renaissance Festival retrns to Country Heritage Park Saturday and Sunday. From 10 arn. to 6 p.m. each day, King Henry VIII and his royal court wiIl visit the village of Whittingham, where thcy'll dclight onlookers with everything from jousting for the queen's favour ta a human ches match. Park-goers will also have the opportunity ta test their skills at archery, witness the fining of the Ballista, see a puppet show and savour a smoked turkey leg and aie. A Saturday evening adults-only Renaissance Intrigue - featuring the costumed performers - wilI aller sang and dance and general revelry Tickets cast $12 for adults and $8 for hath seniors and children six ta 12 years of age.
