The tiles were thcn packaged up and delivered back to the school for installation. Our results place E.C. Drury at the top, beating ouf the other schools within Milton. As well the 2010 EQAO literacy resufts at E.C. were very encouraging, with grades above the board average for both the Academic and Applied streams. Next up, news about the Terry Fox mun which took place on Thursday, September 30th. The school came out foi participate in the run that was a huge success. After their walk]run. around Milton, stu- dents were welcomned back 10 a free BBO, a fine thank you for their efforts. The following day was also of great importance. Our very own Global Council group organized a school wide assembly for invisible Children, a non-profit organization raising awareness and support for the ongoing war in Uiganda. The students were able to speak with not only representatives from the group, but also tirsl-hand witnesses and victims who shared their testimonies and revealed how they triumphed through their trials. A final note on onle of the btggest events of the year at Drury, Commencement, uhich takes place on, October 22nd.
