Sadier earns trip to Chicago with strong performance The Milton Springers' competitive veterans kicked off the 2010-11 season a little earlier than usual - and did so in impressive fashion. Showing strongly at Ontario Tour Selection meet ai Base Borden were Heather Sadler and jennifer Garvie. Placing seventh overail in the Level 8, 14- years-and-up category Sadier secured a berth to, February's Chicago Style, an aIl-star meet in the Windy City Garvie also delivered some impressive results and took l3th in the ali-around of the Level 7, 14-and-up ranks. Buoyed by these season-opening efforts, the Springers tumned in a slew of top-three finishes - including four in the overaîl rankings - during the first provincial qualifying laie lastirnonth i Orangeville. On the strength of golden performances on bars and beamn, Sadier placed third in the aIl- around. Garvie was fourth overail, thanks to bronze-medal efforts on vault and floor.
