The group, which consists of a choir and orchestra, is currently in the process of creating a new eight- voice core of singers. The core musicians are paid. The group is also auditioning for extra choristers as well. Oakville Ensemble says it's looking for vocalists with an interest, knowledge and experience in early music performing practices. It has openings for all voices. The choir performs a minimum of five programs per season. Auditions will be Saturday and Sunday (June 1, 2) and Sunday, June 9 at Grace Lutheran Church by appointment.
