The Red Devils finished first in their pool with two wins and a tie in three games, then blanked the Cumberland Cobras 1-0 in the semifinals before dropping the shootout decision to Nepean Hotspurs S.C. The teams played to a 1-1 stalemate through regulation and extra time, with Oakville tying the game in the second half and Sports Briefs hitting the crossbar in overtime. The second-place showing excited Red Devils coach Phillip Martino.
