The Oakville Literacy Council Spring Used Book Sale is an enormous volunteer undertaking, supported by many local businesses, volunteers, book donors and book buyers. Thank you so much for your generosity. We are very happy to report that 2,636 homes put out a bag for volunteers from 14 local faith communities to collect from your door this past Sunday. This is a record amount. We also received $650 in donations at the doors that will help us purchase fresh food for our food banks.
