- Description
- This photograph was taken in 1999. Signs on the store read, (left to right): Antiques ; Frozen Yoghurt Selfserve Milkshakes ; Bill Hill's Ice Cream Shoppe. Signs not visible in this photograph give further information as to why this store was so popular - they also sold dew worms and groceries. The store, also called "Lakeside Marketeria", was on the north side of Ontario Street, across from Bronte's popular Lake Ontario boardwalk, park, marina and harbour entrance. It was demolished 3-5 years after this photo was taken.
