It's so nice to see pictures of the home I grew up. My grandfather [William McFadden] built this family home. I was adopted [along with my brother Scott McFadden] by Stuart and Freda McFadden [only son of William McFadden]and grew up on the family farm until my parents sold and moved away. William and Alice McFadden built the small house at the end of the laneway in front of the farm and that is where they lived when Stuart and Freda married and took over the family farm.
I have many fond memories of both houses as I spent much time with my grandparents at their home as well.
Both my parents have since passed away, so I'm very happy that someone has taken the time to keep it so beautiful and not let the expansion of Milton cause it be not exist anymore.
