Description
When people needed to remove the wheel of a buggy, by lifting the lever of the buggy jack then positioning the jack under the buggy axle, pushing down on the lever would lift the buggy off the ground so the wheel could be easily removed. Simple and a touch of genius! It still works as smoothly as it did in the era of horse and buggy.

The buggy jack was shown by Irene Saunders at the September 2012 Heritage Day open house of the Trafalgar Township Historical Society at the schoolhouse in Palermo, Oakville.
