B4 THE OAKVILLE BEAVER Wednesday July 26,2000 jjj Meals on Wheels delivers food to seniors, shut-ins * Name misspelled In the July 5th issue of the Oakville Beaver, in the Focus section, a scholarship awarded to St. Thomas Aquinas graduate Tom Babic by the Angela Bruce chapter, IODE, was incorrectly identified as the Merriam Keegan Award. It should have read the Merrian Keegan Award. The scholarship, 58,000 over four years, is named after the late Merrian Keegan, a long-time member of the Angela Bruce chapter. She had also served on the IODE’s national executive. The Beaver apologizes for any embarrassment this error may have caused.
