Police said the theft happened at the 445 Cornwall Rd. shelter during an adoption day when members of the public were allowed in to view the animals. Sometime after 4 p.m., a small kitten named Willow was taken from the cage she was sharing with her two siblings and smuggled out of the shelter. Willow's disappearance was noticed on July 29 and OMHS staff called police.
