ALBL: Julius Gordon Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at the John Noble Home, in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his sister Mary Takacs and brother Alexander Albl. Loving husband to Helen (nee Mekker) Albl. Cherished father of Irene Albl & Steve (Jill) Albl. Dear and loving grandpa and papa to Christina (Rick), Katherine (Joey), Matthew & Tim. Proud great-papa to Justyce, Sarah, Kayla, Eric, Katelyn, Peydon & Gabriel. He will be sadly missed by his nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. We wish to express our sincere heartfelt thank you to the staff at the John Noble Home in caring for our father during his 3 year stay. Family and friends will be received at the "THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME and Chapel", 96 West Street, Brantford on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery.
