KSM started as a simple food co-operative, to help people struggling in the Kerr Street area. Over the years the needs of the community have led KSM to become much more. "We feel blessed to have the opportunity to come alongside the people in this community," says Gary O'Neill, the new Executive Director. "I would like to say `Thank You' to the many faithful donors that have supported KSM over the years. It is their generous contributions that have made it possible for KSM to be here and to serve. They inspire us to continue working to find new partnerships and programs that will help us to provide help for today and hope for the future." Opened in the Spring of 2010, the 19,000 square foot Dream Centre at 485 Kerr Street is home to Kerr Street Ministries. For many living below the poverty line, it has become a beacon of hope in Oakville. It is a place where people in need know they will find care and the generosity of their neighbours. To make it all possible, KSM depends greatly on the ongoing support of individual donors, churches and corporate partners alike. A very special thanks to the Oakville Beaver and to the many people that have responded to our recent "We Need Help" campaign. While we have a long way to go to keep the ministries going, your continued generosity is greatly appreciated... big or small.
