Overall, we feel the safety and the lives of hundreds of children outweigh some of the nuisances of having to drive slower in school zones." Corbett said local residents may actually find the speed bumps beneficial as could result in fewer drivers cutting through the neighbourhood to bypass Rebecca Street. After all delegations were heard, Damoff called on Corbett to work with the parents and the school to further reduce speeding on Sedgewick. She noted the speed bumps on the street are long overdue.
