River Oaks Boulevard East resident Rudy Capogna said he has only recently noticed the planes -- bound for Pearson International Airport -- passing over his house. And Capgona doesn't like it. "They're coming right over our heads now," he said. "It certainly is very loud. The weather is nice and you want to have the windows open, but you can't. You can't enjoy the television at proper volume. I like to sit out on the deck and listen to music and we really can't do that like we did before. All of our neighbours are noticing it." see Increased on p.3 Oakville man's family pleads for his life by David Lea Oakville Beaver Staff Juan Torres, 19, suffered an accident on July 20 that damaged his brain. He was in a coma, but is now awake. His mom, Margarita Perez, seen here, his dad, Jorge Torres, family and friends, are asking for help to raise money for therapy that may rehabilitate him. | photo by Riziero Vertolli Oakville Beaver (Follow on Twitter @halton_photog) An Oakville mother is pleading with members of the public to help her get her son back. Margarita Perez described Juan Daniel Tor- res, 19, as a beautiful, caring, warmhearted teen who was supposed to take his rst steps towards becoming a doctor by starting at the University of Toronto this month. Instead, he lies in a semi-vegetative state in a bed at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Perez said her son can open his eyes, seems to hear, and can even be seen laughing in a video his family has shot. Beyond that, the graduate of St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School appears barely able to move or speak and there is some debate as to his true level of awareness. see Mom on p.5
