www.insideHALTON.com | OAKVILLE BEAVER | Friday, October 4, 2013 | 10 Bronte Village Stakeholders coat give-away Oct. 19 The Bronte Village Stakeholders Coat GiveAway event is set for Saturday, Oct. 19 at St. Dominic School in Bronte. The organization began its drive to collect gently-used and clean outerwear in August and is still collecting donations until Friday, Oct. 18. Those looking to donate outerwear in all sizes, including men's, women's and children's, can do so at the front foyer of the Oakville Fire Department's Bronte station, 2535 Rebecca St. The Coat Give-Away event at the 2405 Rebecca St. school will first be open to various local service agencies, such as Fareshare food bank, Halton Multicultural Council, Kerr Street Ministries, Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre, SAVIS, and local churches, between 9 a.m.-noon. "We encourage people to bring their children so sizing will be appropriate. By limiting the number of items per person in attendance it will allow that we have enough sizes and choices for everyone," stated a press release. The event will then be open to the public between noon-5 p.m. There is a limit of one coat/jacket per person. IN NEED OF TOP QUALITY PERSONAL, COMPANION AND HOME CARE ASSISTANCE?
