Gary O'Neill, executive director of the Christian charity organization, which has assisted those in need in Oakville for the last 18 years, announced Thursday that a local resident approached KSM and offered to match all donations of $60 or more (up to $25,000). O'Neill said the benefactor, who wishes to remain anonymous, hopes to inspire others to donate and help KSM. In July, O'Neill said if KSM didn't get signi cant nancial assistance within three months it may have to close. O'Neill said KSM's had a $110,000 de cit from the operational costs of its 485 Kerr St. building and programs -- aggravated by the economy and donor fatigue.
