Pike, Constance (Connie) (née Constance (Connie)Brown) (Died)
- Full Text
PIKE, Constance (nee Brown) It is with great sadness I announce the final chapter in my wife's life, Connie, has come to a close after a prolonged illness. She was born on January 16, 1942 in Sudbury, and graduated from Winston Churchill High School in 1959. We married in June 1962 and had two children, Terri and Cheryl. She was an excellent seamstress, artist and knitter. She enjoyed golfing with me and the outdoor life. In 1980, she joined the Oakville Real Estate Board as a Sales Representative and advanced to a Branch Manager. Selling real estate was her lifelong goal, as she felt that women better understood the needs of other women in purchasing a home. During her retirement, she volunteered at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, knitting hats for preemie babies. I wish to thank the staff at Northridge for their loving care of Connie and Dr. Sandra Black at Sunnybrook Research Institute for her ongoing support. My wife is interred at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, Oakville. Donations, in her memory, may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation (https://donate.sunnybrook.ca/).
