That was Naomi Kubota. Kubota has volunteered with HHH for 11 years, participating in seven build projects and on HHH ReStore and office expansions. She is an active cashier in the ReStore and has acted as an ambassador for HHH at community events. "Naomi is a down-to-earth, personable, friendly person who draws you to her just by being herself and she is always willing to help no matter where it is," said Vukosa Giannidis. Kubota said she has volunteered all her life and is lucky to have found an organization like HHH. "It's a great organization and it does so much good and it serves a segment of the population a little bit overlooked by other programs," she said. "Our partner families are fantastic. They work hard, they just need a little bit of help." Kubota said there's nothing more inspiring than watching a family take ownership of its new home. "That's one of the best parts of the program, to be able to see the keys handed over to the family and to know that this is going to change their lives," she said.
