LAMONT, Raymond Michael Passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his home on October 5, 2013 at the age of 66. Loving and devoted husband of 40 years to Sandra, father of Jeffery (wife Colleen) and Steven and cherished Grampa to Jack, Harry and Bridget. Raymond will be remembered fondly by all of his brothers, sisters, friends and anyone who crossed his path. Raymond was an extremely caring and compassionate person who always found the good in others. He was always willing to help those in need; no matter how long he may have known them. He was a seasoned life insurance professional and business owner for many years reaching the highest standards in the industry. Throughout his life, Raymond had a passion for hockey, golf and many other sports, which he passed onto his sons and then his grandchildren. Raymond could always be found in the stands of one of his boys games/events and more recently those of his grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr St. 905-844-2600) on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A celebration of Raymond's life will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Saint Matthew Parish, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville.
